5We spend a wonderful day traveling to the Edge of the Word with Riyadh Tours. A tour of an ancient 500 year old village, and down into the deep passages of a bat cave. The tour guide took us on a breathtaking hike along the Edge of the World, then treated us to a delicious dinner under the stars.

5Wowww, what can I say – this was the best day ever. We booked a private tour and we were picked up directly from the hotel. Our driver and tour guide for the whole day was Nawaf – a young gentleman with great passion for tourism, nature, history and music 🙂 Nawaf is also very customer oriented, he is a one man show – a guide, a driver, a photographer and a cook. Our trip was AMAZING. I asked Nawaf to put us some music, we sang and enjoyed the ride. Some people say it is a long ride but for us we did not feel the time because we enjoyed the trip from the beginning till the end. Before we reached Edge of the World, we stopped at beautiful Heritage Village. Once we reached the Edge of the World, it was very hot but we were expecting it. We had water but Nawaf also shared with us cold bottles of water. It is a bit of hike to reach the edge, my aunt did not make it but I did and the views were breathtaking. Nawaf helped me to reach it safely – I was very much grateful for his support. He made the best photos of me, he knows the best spots and he has the passion for the photography. Although my aunt did not hike, she felt the heat wave and needed some help – Nawaf called the security and made sure we reached the car safely. On this occasion, I would like to say that hike is not for everyone – for me it was challenging but I made it. For others it might be too much as temperature gets really high and path is a bit steep, on the rocks and without any handles. After the visit we ate delicious meal in the camp and then Nawaf drove us back to the hotel. We were listening to Elissa and Shakira and enjoyed the ride. We fully recommend Riyadh Trips. The tour would not be the same without Nawaf – we were lucky to have the tour with him. Shukran Nawaf and hope to see you soon

5I was in Riyadh for a 20 hour layover as a solo female traveler. I did not know how I would feel but upon arrival realized that I felt extremely safe and comfortable and wanted to go on this hike that I had heard of but never thought I’d have the chance to do. I was absolutely thrilled with the tour – the guide, Salman was incredible, my fellow travelers were fun to hike with, and it was a truly awe inspiring experience to get to hike to the Edge of the World. I wore a pair of loose cotton pants and t-shirt and felt comfortable – both for hiking and for being in Saudi Arabia. I highly recommend this tour and highly encourage doing this hike if you find yourself lucky enough to be in Riyadh. The company was very responsive to questions on WhatsApp prior to departure and the meetup location was only a 30 minute Uber ride from the airport.

5Seeing sun set from Edge of the world is one of the best experiences in Riyadh. Trip involves long car journey and ~2 kms hike. Guides hardly speak English, but they take good care of tourists. Dinner was delicious. Must do if you have a free day in Riyadh. Tips – wear comfortable clothes and shoes, carry sun shades, cap and sun screen lotion. Abaya is not needed if you don’t want to wear it. Do not carry plastic covers and bottles. If you do, bring it back and dispose responsibly. There is too much plastic garbage already in this beautiful hidden gem.

5A very pleasant experience. At the beginning it was a bit unclear as there was no much prior communication and the driver doesn’t speak good English, but everything turns out good – we stopped by some heritage site with toilets (so don’t have to sit for the entire way) on the way to the Edge, and allow us sufficient time till end of sunset to be at the Edge to enjoy, plus the dinner on the way back was quite nice. Good experience and value for money!

5The views from the Edge of the World were spectacular. Our guides were friendly and helpful and took great videos of us on top. The dinner experience was lovely. It was in a large traditional tent with Persian carpets comfortable floor seating. We were served sweet mint tea and Saudi coffee. There were snacks and drinks before dinner and the meal they served was delicious rice, chicken and salad. It was really great and exceptional value for money.

5Faheem was an amazing guide, he presented a lot of interesting historical facts during the trip, he knew the best places where to take pictures and offered to take them for me. I had an amazing time during the tour and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to go visit the Edge of The World.

5The guide Salman was amazing. We visited an old ruin, a bat cave and he made a stop to see the camels. The hike to the edge was fantastic. The dinner was laid out in a traditional Saudi style tent and was delicious. Well worth it.

5Very well ran tour. The drivers/tour guides did an outstanding job getting us to and from the site. The dinner at the end of tour was amazing! If you have a few hours to spare you should most certainly add this tour to your day.

5Absolutely amazing experience. Othman was a fantastic driver/guide, and the whole experience was very pleasant, felt safe, and well taken care of. Would highly recommend as a day trip if you’re in Riyadh.
YUAN_W,
5good view and good experience, but a long journey, 2.5 hours of single way, back to the meeting point at 9:30PM, a little tired.
Harper_M
5very good experience. Great tour guide, great people and overall a great experience seeing the Edge Of The World!

5The view is beautiful, worth a visit. The dinner afterwards felt like a waste of time, wish we could just head straight back after the hike.

5The event was truly memorable, the team was great , but the traveling to get there on the gravel roads is not fun. Dusty, windows cant be opened, hot , makes you feel a bit sick . It is close to 1hr , 40min. Would I do it again? no, thinking about the travel on the gravel road makes me feel sick. It is a beautiful breathtaking view , so if you willing to brave all the others hardships than do it .

5It was an excellent experience; the view is amazing, wow! A bit far from town, but definitely worth it. On the way back, we had a meal in a tent. Overall, it was a nice experience.”

5Experience an unforgettable view at the Edge of the World in Riyadh. The breathtaking scenery makes you feel like you’re on another planet. The guides are very nice and ensure you discover every Instagram-worthy spot.

5Incredible journey in a quiet time for tourism in SA. You meet just out of town to escape the traffic and stop a few times along the way for different experiences and if you need to use the bathroom. The view and vibe will leave you breathless.

5Trip definitely exceeded my expectations. Beautiful area, trip also stopped at a cave and an abandoned town, which were both interesting (especially the cave). I just had a short stay in Riyadh, but the tour allowed me to see some of the desert, and the Edge of the World site was spectacular.
Linshien_F
5We visited an old village ruin built 500 years ago, the edge of the world, a cave in the desert, and finally, the dinner in the camp, very good!
Terri_B
5Phenomenal trip! Had an amazing experience visiting the Edge of the World. Everything flowed smoothly from communication pre-trip, pick-up, tour operator during trip, length of time at each site, and drop off. Would use this company again and definitely recommend to anyone looking to book a tour!
Kirsten_B
5The view from the top is incredible! I definitely would return again and do a full day. Without a guide, it would be difficult to find your way to the location. However, I do have some issues with the tour itself. The meeting location was difficult to find, as the building where the Dunkin is located is under construction and there is no visible sign identifying the restaurant. The vans should have curtains to help block the sun and keep the vans cool, as there is no air conditioning. We were told there was snacks and water, but they did not distribute any to us until we were at the camp right before dinner. They did not clearly communicate to everyone when to be back at the buses to leave the site, so we waited anout 20 minutes for some people to make their way back before we could leave and head to dinner. They also ran low/out of some of the items at dinner so people at the end didn’t get everything the people at the front did.

5It was amazing, the tour was well organizes, guides were kind and helpful! We liked very much, I can recommend!

5The registration part need improvement, such as preprint custom list and let customers sign up next to their name. Arrange airport drop off for the connecting passengers because the timing is very important for them. If the tour company could have airport pickup and drop off tour, that will be more attractive for some connecting passengers because lots of them have to wait in airport lots hours.
